The following team of dedicated professionals are working to
maintain and enhance the quality of the Foundation’s programs and
expand their reach domestically and internationally:

Allan Houston (Principal; Program Co-Founder) - The
recipient of numerous community and sportsmanship awards, Allan
continues to demonstrate his commitment to serving the needs of
young people through the programs and initiatives of his Foundation
and other causes. Setting the Foundation’s mission and playing a
hands-on role in the creation of its programs, Allan’s character
and dedication are the impetus for the Foundation’s growth into a
world-class charitable institution.

Jonathan Herman (Executive Director; Program Co-Founder) -
As a long-time entrepreneur and management/marketing consultant,
Jonathan helps set the strategic direction of the Foundation, leads
the development and growth of its programs, and has formed and
supervises the management team. In this role, Jonathan cultivates
relationships with national and local partners to ensure that the
needs of each staff member and program participants are met, while
providing strong management systems for the Foundation’s
success.

Trevor Jaha (National Program Director) - With more than
four years experience in corporate sales and marketing, Trevor
chose a path filled with purpose and passion in founding a company
that co-facilitates male development in the NYC Public School
System. Joining the Foundation as the Program Director for the
Business Education and Development Program, Trevor is responsible
for its ongoing operations and has taken a personalized approach in
the cultivation of each participant. By recognizing that the first
step to success is knowing and believing in oneself, Trevor focuses
on balancing universal principles with proven business strategies
to develop foundations for a purpose-driven life.

Miko Horn (National Event Manager; Program Coordinator) - As
a long-time event and project manager for various sports and
entertainment endeavors, Miko Horn leads the planning and execution
of “Father Knows Best” and other organizational events.
Contributing in various aspects of the Foundation’s operations,
Miko plays an important role in executing the vision of the
organization and its programs.

Roderick Eugene (New Orleans Program Director) - As an MBA
graduate and long-time technology manager with AT&T, Roderick
Eugene is heading management operations for BEDP in New Orleans.
Roderick is responsible for promoting the program to prospective
participants, cultivating support relationships within the local
community, developing a strong bas of mentors among the local
business community, and ensuring the overall success of the local
program.

Leslie Haynes Smith (New Orleans Course Instructor) - With
teaching experience at Delgado Community College and
entrepreneurial experience of her own, Leslie Haynes Smith provides
course instruction and guidance to the twenty-five BEDP
participants each semester in New Orleans. Leslie facilitates both
the delivery and qualitative adjustments of each curricular
component.
Michele Scott (National Publicity Director) - With extensive
media and publicity experience, Michelle Scott oversees the
strategic direction and execution of the Foundation’s media
efforts. Working closely with Foundation’s leadership,
sub-contracted publicity firms and direct media contacts, Michele
works to obtain proper media coverage and exposure for the
Foundation, its sponsors and partners in each local market and
nationally.
